KWU Student Profile: Kat Davis

Written by on March 22, 2018

Millenials often get a bad rap in today’s culture. They’re labelled as “lazy” and “not willing to work hard”. NewsDesk has a different angle on that particular generation, and so in the weeks to come, we’ll be featuring a look a different k-dub students who shatter the illusion that millennial only care about drinking expensive coffee and eating avocado toast. We start out with Senior Kat Davis, a Communications and Marketing student who’s been very active in both student organizations and outside work. Recently hired for a marketing position, Davis tells NewsDesk she also makes sure to carve out time in her schedule to give something back to the community by volunteering at Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Davis has been a disc jockey on our online radio station, KKWU, an editor for our sister Publication, The Advance Newspaper, and has served as the official Student Government representative for the KWU Communications club. We forgot to ask her if she likes avocado toast.
