How to Make a Subway Style Homemade Italian BMT

Ingredients:

  • Deli Sliced Ham
  • Hard Salami
  • Pepperoni
  • Pepper Jack Cheese
  • Your choice of lettuce and veggies
  • Canola Oil
  • Red wine vinegar
  • Garlic butter
  • Hamburger buns

 

So if you like the Italian BMT from Subway then this is the perfect quarantine snack for you. Not only does it taste nearly identical to the sub from Subway, but it can actually be made with as little or as much of any of the ingredients that you like. The process is simple and can provide a deli quality meal in minutes.

You’re going to start by taking your meat and layering it on a plate. First take two pieces of ham and lay them next to each other on a plate. Next stack a piece of salami on top of each piece of ham, followed by a piece of pepperoni. Next place a piece of pepper jack on top of one of the stack of deli meat and place the other stack on top of the cheese, sandwiching the cheese between the two stacks of meat. Next toast the buns till lightly toasted and immediately lather garlic butter on both sides. Apply as much or as little oil and vinegar as you like to the top and bottom of the bun. Place any veggies you wish on top of the stack of meat you have sitting on the plate. Place the stack of deli meat on the bottom of the bun and place the top of the bun on the sandwich. Finally place the sandwich in the microwave for 30 seconds.
