Nicole Joplin – Sophomore, Major is Nursing, hometown is Brownfield, Texas.

Nicole Joplin got injured the first week of school and has been out on the sidelines ever since. Here is her side of what it’s like to be on the sidelines. Joplin said “I injured my left elbow as i was doing my second back handspring at tumbling practice and during the back handspring my elbow dislocated then relocated. I am hoping to be back soon, the doctor said I could be out for 5-6 weeks. Being on the sidelines and not being able to participate is heartbreaking. It sucks having to sit there and watch everyone doing what you should be out there doing and the hardest part about it is that there is nothing you can do about it because you have to heal up. But there are some pros to being on the sideline, I am able to watch my teammates improve!”
