Homecoming Pep Rally

Kansas Wesleyan had homecoming this past weekend and was showing school spirit all week.  This week students dressed up to school according to the theme of the day and students enjoyed that.

All leading up to the pep rally that took place this Friday at eleven thirty AM near the SAC.  The school served food to the students while the cheer and dance teams put on a show for the students doing their acrobatic stunts.  While students were gathered around enjoying the food and listening to music the announcements of the homecoming king and queen took place.  The winners were decided at the football game though.  Asking some students who went and what they thought about the pep rally were mostly positive things said.

Omar Estrada attended the Pep Rally and I asked him what he thought about the event and if he thought it brought the students of the school closer together.  He went on to say he believes the event brought students together and thinks the school should and more events involving the students and sports teams as one.   Not only that it also gave the sports teams a huge boost in morale knowing that their fellow coyotes are cheering them on week in and week out.  The pep rally was a huge success and homecoming 2021 was special to KWU this year.
