KWU Women’s Golf Wins Third Straight KCAC Title

Not one, not two, but three!
Our KWU women’s golf team is the KCAC Women’s Golf Conference Champions for the third year in a row! The Lady Yotes traveled down to Newton, Kansas, to play at Sand Creek Station Golf Course and dominated all three rounds of the conference tournament, winning with a 10-shot lead. Not only did they walk away with the conference champion title, but also 4 of the 5 Lady Yotes placed in the top 10:
- Chaney Littell: T-5th
- Ryann Warren: T-5th
- Emily Stamper: T-7th (Her lowest tournament round!!)
- Savanna Nickum: 10th place (Won in a playoff!!)
It’s not over for the KWU women’s golf team, up next, Nationals!!! The NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship will be held on May 19- 22 at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Please wish the Lady Yotes golf team as they prepare to dominate in the national championship golf field!
