Oakdale Park

Oakdale Park means something different to everyone who visits. For me, Oakdale Park is the host location to the Annual Salina Arts and Humanities River Festival, which takes place every June.

The park features a non-operation locomotive engine, botanical garden, gazebos, grills, performing stage, playground, tennis courts and is conveniently located near downtown, in the center of Salina, West of the YMCA, Tony’s Event and Convention Center and Kenwood Cove (outdoor waterpark).

The downtown Salina River channel runs through the park and is a highlight of the River Festival.

Performance Stage is used during the River Festival and other scheduled Salina events.

The botanical garden is often used as the backdrop for Senior photos, nice strolls and a great meeting place for family reunions.
