New Indian Cuisine in Salina!

Welcome back! I’m Jacob Fallon, and today we’ll be taking a look at Janaki Indian Cuisine. This restaurant recently opened on Nov. 17. It has a very diverse menu, with customers giving it high praise. 

This place has been recommend to me by various people. However, I have never had Indian food before so I was unsure what to expect. I did some research into this place and I found out that it is highly praised by Salina locals. Google reviews has them at a 4.9/5 stars with 130 reviews. The Food of The Day

Walking into this place I didn’t know what to expect. I decided to go with the Lamb Tikka Masala. When it came out It didn’t look too appetizing. But I was optimistic and in a way it reminded me of my grandmothers cooking. After the first bite WOW I was impressed! For my first time having Indian food this was definitely impressive and might be one of my new favorite spots. the lamb just melted in my mouth and then when I put it all on the cheesy naan it was AMAZING! 9/10 on the food and the bar has been set for Indian food for me. I absolutely loved this place and recommend it!

The Grades

Now for the grades. So for the price it was $20 bucks and it was higher than expected so for that 7/10, the portion sizes were solid so that made up for the price tag. The food took sort of long to come out but there was three of us so that’s to be expected, the waiters didn’t really say much to us but they were nice so 8/10. Lastly for the food 9/10.

• Service: 8/10, Nice people, food took a bit to come out.
