Fallon Food Reviews: Great Wall

Welcome Back! I’m Jacob Fallon, and today we’ll take a look at the Great Wall here in Salina. Great Wall has been open for over twenty years. It features a brief and traditional menu. Known for its big portion sizes and delicious food, let’s see what Great Wall has to offer!

The Food of Choice
I went for Beef Fried Rice alongside an order of Steamed Dumplings. In total, it ran me about $18, not too bad.
When I first grabbed the bag, I realized it did have some weight to it. The food looked amazing, and I was so excited to dig in. I haven’t had Chinese take-out in a while, and I’ve been craving it these last few weeks.
The Review
First up, the Steamed Dumplings, and they were delicious. From the look of it to the taste, it just went hand in hand. All the flavor just hit me at once, and it was probably one of the best Dumplings I have ever tasted. 10/10!

Next, the Beef Fried Rice was also good, but it didn’t really blow my socks off. To me, it tasted like any other Beef Fried Rice I’ve had. Solid Flavor, good ratio to rice, beef, and egg. However, it still was pretty good, and I’ll give it a 7.3/10.
The price wasn’t bad, I felt like it was average, but the portions did make up for it, so 7.6/10. The service was decent, 8/10. I just got takeout, so it was hard to judge the service. My food was done when on time, in and out pretty fast.

- Price: 7.6/10 average price, big-sized portions
- Food: 8.65/10, I enjoyed it a lot and will be returning in the near future
