From the court to the Diamond
Logan Arndt is just starting to play the game of baseball again, well in baseball terms. Most guys that play college baseball have been playing their whole life. Starting in tee ball and working on their craft all the way up till they hang up the spikes. Arndt grew up the same way. Coming from an athlete which was his father who played semi pro football, the athletic ability was already there. Arndt made the full switch from playing baseball and basketball to just basketball in the early high school years. Arndt would go on to play college basketball at Iowa community college. Getting ready for the freshman season Arndt would end up tearing his ACL right before the season started. After using a redshirt and getting back into the playing form the knee was still bothering him. “Every time I would get done with practice I couldn’t even move my knee or even walk sometimes.” Arndt stated. Turned out that Arndt suffered from a rare bone defect that affected his knee in a negative way. Knowing he couldn’t play the first game he ever loved he turned to his other passion. Baseball.

Off to a hot Start
Arndt would leave Iowa CC and attend Western Technical College in Wisconsin. This is where he would start up his baseball career again. He would go on to hit.364 with 6 HRs and 32 RBIs. After just one season he would then leave WTC and head to the great land of Kansas and commit to Kansas Wesleyan.

Arndt has taken off since the season has started and is currently hitting .458 with 6 HRs, and 23 RBIs. He was rewarded with Naia Baseball Player of the Week.
With these efforts from Arndt it has uplifted the KWU baseball offense to be ranked top 5 in a lot of statistical categories. Including first in runs, hits, rbi’s, home runs, and extra base hits. This comes along with the coyotes being 10-0 in conference play to start the year and look to keep things rolling.
