The Coyotes’ spring scrimmage, held on April 26, 2025, showcased the team’s progress under Middleton’s guidance. The offense, in particular, stood out, demonstrating the high-powered, fast-paced style that Middleton is known for. While the defense showed promise, the offensive unit’s performance highlighted the potential for a dynamic season ahead. Middleton’s arrival is further bolstered by a talented core of returning players, including All-American running back Luke Armstrong, All-American defensive lineman Joshua King-Bradley, and All-Conference wide receiver Randarious Spivvy. With proven leadership and game-changing ability on both sides of the ball, these returning standouts give the Coyotes a strong foundation to build on as they aim to make a run for the conference title in 2025.
