Hidden Gem In Salina?

Welcome Back! Fallon Food Reviews here, and today we will be going to Rooster’s Tavern. Salina is home to various bars/taverns, and Rooster’s is one of the highest-rated ones with a 4.7/5 stars on Google Reviews.
Now, I didn’t know this place existed until a week or two ago. But let’s see if we found a hidden gem in Salina.
When I walked into Rooster’s, the atmosphere was amazing, and the people were so friendly.
I went on about midday during the week of springbreak, and there were a good number of people there.
With that being said, I was excited to try it.

Food of the Day
Looking at the menu, it had basic bar foods.
I decided to get a taste of home and go for the Big Texas Burger.
This burger was a double cheeseburger with BBQ sauce and two onion rings.
Now, big was kind of a lie; it really was just a regular-sized burger, and it also looked grey.
With that being said, it was time for me to take a bite. Honestly, I didn’t taste much of the burger; I tasted more cheese and onion than burger.
Overall, I was quite underwhelmed. I guarantee you, if you’re having a good time drinking, then this burger might be the greatest thing since sliced bread.
“Burger didn’t exceed expectations” – Drew Wardell
“Cheese on burger took over the flavor profile” – Blake Dale
Summary
- Service: 8.3/10 – Wasn’t bad, took a bit to get our order in and pay
- Price: 9.7/10 – 9 Dollars for a two-patty burger with a drink and a side is a very good price
- Food: 6/10 – Couldn’t really taste the burger itself
Overall, Rooster’s gets an 8/10. I think if you went to Rooster’s to drink and have a good time with friends, then it might be one of the top places to be in Salina. It’s very affordable and overall not a bad place to eat at.
