KWU Women’s Golf Wins Season Opener

The KWU women’s golf team traveled to Wichita, Kansas, and started their season at the Friends Women’s Invitational, playing at Tallgrass Country Club.

The Lady Yotes battled tough conditions and a daunting course both days. However, they were able to finish strong and take home some hardware.

Results

• The Lady Yotes finished with a 16-shot lead and took home first place as a team
• Chaney Littell had the lowest round of the tournament in the second round and took home 2nd place
• Ryann Warren took home 5th place

Make sure to tell our Lady Yotes great job for taking home the W!! The women’s golf team was on the road at the beginning of this week at the William Woods Invitational in Fulton, Missouri, but their second round was rained out. Their next tournament is April 6-7 at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, Kansas.
